Colin Winnette

Colin Winnette is a writer from Denton, Texas. He is the author of Revelation (Mutable Sounds, 2011), Animal Collection (Spork Press, 2012), Fondly (Atticus Books, 2013), Coyote (Les Figues, 2015), and Haints Stay (Two Dollar Radio, 2015). Fondly was listed among Salon’s Best Books of 2013. Coyote won Les Figues Press’s NOS Book Contest and was on the Small Press Distribution bestseller list for four months. Haints Stay was listed as a 2015 “Best Book of the Year” by Flavorwire, Litreactor, Largehearted Boy, and Slate. Coyote was listed as a 2015 “Best Book of the Year” by Flavorwire and the Washington Independent Review of Books. Winnette was a runner-up for the Cleveland State University Poetry Center’s First Book Award, and a finalist for Gulf Coast Magazine’s Donald Barthelme Prize for Short Prose, as well as the 1913 Press First Book Award. Bill Pieper

Bill Pieper lives and writes in Sacramento and Nevada City, California, and is listed as a notable alumnus of the Squaw Valley Community of Writers. Two of his stories have received Pushcart Prize nominations, and a third won a national award from Scratch Writer magazine. Pieper’s stories have appeared in The Farallon Review, Red Fez, Convergence, Primal Urge, Fiction 365, The Blue Lake Review, and elsewhere. In addition to Forgive Me, Father, his 2014 collection from Cold River Press, Pieper has two novels in print, Belonging (Comstock Bonanza Press, 2006) and What You Wish For (Pacific Slope Press, 2011).
